Production Tube Fabrication

Noble Industries, Inc. strives to lead the industry in innovative metal fabrication by implementing state-of-the-art technology and adhering to a principle that total customer satisfaction is our highest priority.

In every area of our operations, we strive to back up that statement! At Noble Industries, we understand that customers frequently require pipe and tube fabrication along with their sheet metal parts or assemblies. Cutting and deburring, bending, notching, slotting, piercing, drilling, welding or using other techniques for assemblies and powder coating are common metal tube fabrication needs. As for the material used, we have carbon steel tube and pipe fabrication along with aluminum tube fabrication customers and those who need stainless steel tube fabrication. Whatever your needs are, we can handle it!  We process 5 tons of tube per week making our tube capabilities amoung the best in the Midwest!  We can cut it, bend it, notch it and complete welded assemblies of tube products.

Our typical size tube is between 1/2 inch O.D. to  3 inches O.D.  We handle round, square & retangular tube.  The wall thickness can range between 24 gauge to 10 gauge.

What is the difference between tube & pipe material?  Great question!  Tube fabrication material is straight forward.  Tube is usually used for store fixtures or structures where you want the measurement to be on the outside.  Tube is defined and measured by the OD or outside diameter.  The strength of the tube or pipe is defined by the wall thickness.  Tube bending and forming is most consistent than pipe because the OD tolerance is more consistent and that is how a bending is set-up, to the outside dimensions of the tube or pipe.  Pipe manufacturers make sure that the ID is the most consistent feature of pipe because fliuds or other objects are normally inside.

Our Dutch Saw High speed CNC Tube Processing system with inline deburring can handle large production tubular material starting from a stock length of up to 24' (288") inches and according to the following chart:

Shape Min. Max.
1/2" 3 1/2"
1/2" x 1/2" 3" x 3"
1/2" x 3/8" 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"
  2 3/4"

We also have band saw and miter saw capabilities.

Tube and pipe fabricating and forming is the process of adding operations, such as cutting, piercing, and forming to raw tube and pipe material to meet part specifications. Once you have the length of tube or pipe needed then we can move the material to any of the following areas for you secondary tube fabrication operations.
