CNC Punching
Noble Industries is the leader in low cost/high volume CNC metal punching, using CNC Amada Turret Presses and Salvagnini S4 punching equipment. CNC punching is a computer controlled process that can easily stamp out hundreds of geometric shapes into a piece of sheet metal in mere seconds. It involves a punch, a die, sheet metal and programming that tells the press which tools to use and where to punch parts. CNC punching is the most efficient way to produce precision fabricated metal products with many holes.
The CNC sheet metal punching process starts when our engineers take a design that may be presented in a 2D format such as DXF or DWG files or a 3D file format. They analyze this information and create the flat sheet metal layout and assign the correct tooling to create the desired component. Our P.E.P. 2011 technology nesting software is used to establish the most efficient layout of components on a given size of sheet metal. Obviously, the more components that can be produced from a panel of sheet metal the cheaper each CNC punched component will become.
